INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of nut milk
2tsp fresh or powdered turmeric
1tsp fresh ginger
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of black pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1tsp maple syrup or honey
DIRECTIONS:
whisk together in pot and heat on burner. Once hot, drink immediately!
Turmeric is the spice that gives curry it's yellow color! It's been used in India for thousands of years for it's medicinal properties and color.
I can tell you from experience that Turmeric WORKS. I make this drink about 2-3 times a week, ESPECIALLY when I'm trying to recover form overdoing it on sugar... lol.
